Chris Cloud graduated from Florida State University and earned his law degree from Mississippi College of Law. He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts located in Florida and Mississippi.
Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Cloud Law Firm. Before joining the firm, Chris spent several years representing accident victims at a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm. He then practiced insurance defense for more than a decade at a well-respected law firm in Tampa, Florida. During that time, he prosecuted and defended numerous tort and quasi-contract claims for both plaintiffs and defendants in various venues located across the State of Florida, the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean. These cases ranged from minor trip and fall claims to serious auto accidents and complex aviation cases, and involved everything from fairly minor injuries to numerous fatalities. However, his largest client was a Fortune 100 company for whom he defended serious car, pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, and trucking accidents. During his time practicing for the defense, Chris learned the strategies and techniques insurance companies employ to lessen or avoid claims.
Over the past 15 years, Chris has successfully prosecuted numerous claims on behalf of plaintiffs, to include several cases that resulted in seven figure recoveries. He has also participated in the successful defense of innumerable defendants, including several cases that were ultimately tried to a defense verdict. At the Cloud Law Firm, Chris now focuses his efforts entirely on effective representation of accident victims.
Rob Morris graduated from Taylor University and earned his law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is licensed to practice in all Florida and Indiana state courts, as well as the United States Circuit Court for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, Northern District of Indiana, and Southern District of Indiana.
Prior to joining the Cloud Law Firm, Rob served as an attorney adviser in the Office of Hearings Operations for the Social Security Administration. In that capacity, he advised Administrative Law Judges on pending cases, reviewed extensive medical records, researched outcome-determinative substantive and procedural issues, and drafted opinions for issuance. Rob brings a unique understanding of the Agency’s non-adversarial adjudication process, which is invaluable in advocating at administrative hearings and, when warranted, on appeal to federal court. His experience, coupled with a compassionate approach, furthers the mission of the Cloud Law Firm to effectively help persons with disabilities.
Additionally, Rob has many years of experience in private practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He has experience litigating disputes involving insurance coverage, personal injury, professional liability, premises liability, and business torts. Over the years, he has obtained innumerable favorable outcomes for clients. Here too, his experience furthers the mission of the Cloud Law Firm to effectively represent accident victims through trial and appeal.
